And that’s a GREAT service.  But during the week does your staff ignore the entrances?   Most custodial staff re-lay the mats daily.  Most vacuum them nightly.  Some staff will dry them when they get soaked.  If you had to pay your staff to relay, vacuum, and dry wet mats how much would it increase your labor budget?

Don’t forget, if your rental mats arrive fresh on Tuesday and it snows on Wednesday, those mats are maintained by your staff for a week, not the rental company.

The mat price suggested on the attached comparison is the for the same mat the rental company uses.  Rental mats are manufactured for one purpose.  They are made to be easily laundered!  They are poor at stopping water and dirt.  In fact they tend to act as a conveyor of water and dirt into your building

Do you have a good relationship with your rental company?  It’s the driver that does the work for you.  If he enjoys his route he’ll unroll and place each mat.  He’ll immediately replace a cut or worn mat with a new one.  He’ll note if a mat has been placed in the wrong entrance or is missing completely.
